DIRECT PENALTY AREAS IN YELLOW
This explains your options should your ball go in the water on holes 2, 9, 10, 11, 17 and 18 as well as the canals.
The large rocky area behind the greens next to the streets are NOT out of bounds. If your ball lands there, you get free relief, one club length no closer to the hole. (This is a local rule)
If your ball lands comes to rest in the street, it is Out of Bounds

If you are certain, for virtually certain that you ball is out of bounds, instead of going back and replaying the shot (stroke and distance) you can bring your back back into the fairway
